Kirkwood
my other account is a general.
i’m moving on
i think i might want to use wordpress.com because it is more substantial.
i absolutely love the internet
i might be addicted. RSS feeds, blogging, video. instant information. input! just call me johnny-five. that is all. really.
disney is a cash hound
i’m frustrated that pixar is owned by disney. i’m also frustrated that disney is tampering with pixar’s genius by creating too many sequels. for anyone who does not know, i love disney and always will, but i am not a kid anymore. i’m far too skeptical and way too much of an elitist to subscribe to the franchising of some of my favorite movies.
all that said, if there’s anyone that can make lightning strike twice (or thrice) it’s most definitely pixar. and i’ll be first in line if the movies are good-i’m not that much of a jerk.
tumblr keeps me loggd in
it’s nice being able to post whenever i feel like it, and not be pestered by a bot asking me for my password. it’s unsafe, but i’m living on the edge anyway.
This is a quick interview with mister Dashboard Confessional himself, Chris Carabba. I’m kind of over his music, but this at least restores my faith in his sincerity. I’m trying to come down from my elitist high horse, and it’s videos like this that are slowly turning me. Watch it even if you think he’s a pansy.
Wish List
As I draw closer to graduation, two things keep popping into my mind that would greatly enhance my productivity. I have money for neither. they are as follows.
I do not have the means to switch to AT&T, so an iphone is out of the question. Besides, I already have a great phone as it is. Also, I do not own an audio interface. And I need one that is portable, firewire, and optimized for logic/garageband. Maybe I’m speaking too soon, but I feel strong about my current selection. MOTU has a good one as well, but it’s 100 dollars more. Worth it? We’ll see.
Stuff that white people like
This is too good to be true. The writer is white, but that makes it all the better. It would probably be more adequately titled, “stuff that pretentious rich people do to make themselves feel superior.” Even that isn’t completely accurate though, cause I’m not rich and I identify with half of the list. Just check it out. It’s really funny.
i gave a recital recently. it made me feel good.
